What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

My fondest memories are of walks along the Oker River. I also lived there, and it was my favorite place.

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

A combination of tradition, a strong focus on research, and excellent opportunities to gain practical experience in the region during your studies.

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

  • courage
  • development
  • gratitude

Which contents of your studies can you still use in your career today?

Knowledge from battery process engineering—for example, processes used in battery production.

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

Unfortunately, I've lost touch.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Define your own (job-related) expectations as early as possible, even if they are not yet entirely clear.
  2. Draft a development plan for yourself.
  3. Start with the smallest and simplest steps.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

... that it maintains its leading position in research in Germany and remains a pillar of development for the Lower Saxony region.
