What‘s your nicest memory of Braunschweig and do you have a favorite place?

My favorite place: the south stand in the Eintracht Stadium!

Reasons why the TU Braunschweig is a great place to study:

Inspiration from other departments; encounters with many very intelligent people

Describe the time of your studies in 3 words:

  • Freedom
  • Personal Responsibility
  • Growth

Which contents of your PhD work can you still use in your career today?

Just about everything; scientific work with practical applications

Are you still in touch with former fellow students? Do you see each other and if so, how often?

I don't keep in touch with my former colleagues from the university on a regular basis.

What advice would you give current students for their personal career planning?

  1. Network with many people.
  2. Take in different perspectives and viewpoints, including those from other fields.

In one sentence - In the future I wish the TU Braunschweig:

... continued success as a welcoming place that upholds academic freedom.
