Changes to our Master’s modules

As part of the general shift away from orientation and specialization in the Master’s degree programs, our current Master’s modules will be phased out and replaced by new offerings.

The module Production and Logistics B and its associated courses Production Facility Management and Sustainability in Production and Logistics will be offered in their current format for the last time in summer term 2026. Associated exams may only be taken up to and including summer term 2027.

The module Production and Logistics A and its associated courses Supply Chain Management and Operations Management in the Automotive Industry will be offered in their current format for the last time in winter term 2026/27. Associated exams may only be taken up to and including winter term 2027/28.

After these deadlines, it will no longer be possible to enroll in or take exams for these modules.

Starting from winter term 2026/27 and summer term 2027, four new modules will be available, focusing on the topics of “Sustainability in Production and Logistics Systems”, “Management of Industrial Production Systems”, “Supply Chain Management”, and “Operations Management in the Automotive Industry.” Each of these modules consists of a lecture and a tutorial, in which the taught methods are applied, deepened, and reflected upon.
