Launch of the SMART*UP Project: New Momentum for the Regional Start-up Ecosystem

The SMART*UP project at TU Braunschweig has officially launched. In collaboration with regional partners, the project aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial culture in the region in a sustainable way. The goal is to promote entrepreneurial thinking among students and researchers and to provide structured support for start-up projects – from the initial idea to scaling.

The professorship is pleased to be part of SMART*UP. It actively contributes in several areas – in particular by raising awareness and providing training for potential founders, as well as researching the role of digital technologies in the start-up context, including artificial intelligence.

Key focus areas of the project include:

  • Awareness & Training: Tailored programs for students, doctoral candidates, and academic staff
  • Networking: Close cooperation with partners such as the Entrepreneurship Hub, PTB, HZI, Braunschweig Zukunft, and others
  • Support: Coaching, maker spaces, and digital tools throughout all phases of the start-up journey
  • Growth: Targeted support for start-ups during seed and scaling stages

We’re excited to be part of this project!
