While quantum chemistry has become a powerful tool for calculating properties of complex molecular systems, the accuracy of those predictions is often unclear.
Therefore, we develop methods for quantifying uncertainties in quantum-chemical calculations that make it possible to assign error bars to computational predictions. These novel methods will enable chemists to draw more reliable conclusions from simulations, and will allow for tailored simulation schemes with predictable accuracy.
