Institute for Machine Tools and Manufacturing Technology
(Sustainable Production and Life Cycle Engineering), Technische Universität Braunschweig is looking for
As soon as possible
a student assistant (30 - 40 hours/month) in the field of sustainable production technology / machining
The Chair of Sustainable Production and Life Cycle Engineering at the Institute of Machine Tools and Production Engineering (IWF) develops new methods, tools and technologies in the research field of "Sustainability in Production" in order to successfully meet the challenges of sustainable development along the entire life cycle of technical products. One of the key topics in this context is cutting machines (milling, turning, grinding) and the associated machine peripherals (cooling lubricant systems, compressed air supply, etc.). In addition to increasing energy efficiency through monitoring and demand-oriented control, the development of sustainable cooling lubricants and alternative cooling lubricant strategies are also part of our department's fields of activity. For research in the field of sustainable machining, we are looking for active support who can help us with the preparation, implementation and evaluation of machine tests, among other things.
Severely disabled persons will be given preference in the case of equal suitability. Proof must be enclosed. The TU Braunschweig aims to reduce under-representation in all areas and positions as defined by the NGG. Therefore, applications from women are particularly welcome. Application costs cannot be reimbursed.
