Exam registration in the summer semester 2026

General Information / Online Registration

• For examination matters, please send an email exclusively to pruefungen-irp (at) tu-braunschweig.de
• All examinations take place during the respective examination periods of the relevant faculties.
• You must register for ALL examinations (oral and written) via the online portal (Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / etc.). If this is not possible, please contact your examination office — in some degree programmes you may need to submit a credit recognition request. In exceptional cases, you will also need to register directly with the IRP (see below).
• If you are already registered online for a written exam, no further action is required — please do not register again directly with the IRP.
• If you are registered online for an oral examination, you must arrange an appointment directly with the IRP (see below).
• The date shown for oral examinations in TU-Connect is a placeholder and represents only the earliest possible date.
• Specific dates for oral examinations are assigned EXCLUSIVELY by the IRP (see below).

Exceptions (Additional Examinations, ERASMUS, etc.)

In exceptional cases, you may also need to register directly with the examiner — for example, for examinations outside your degree programme, additional examinations, or ERASMUS. In these cases, please register by email as described below for oral examinations. Important: please indicate whether the examination should be graded or ungraded (default: graded). This decision cannot be changed after the examination has taken place (including in resits).

The following examinations are offered in the summer semester 2026 (provisional, subject to change)

• Oral examinations in Robotics 1 & 2
• Other oral examinations

You have the right to sit each examination at least once per semester. If no written exam is offered, an oral examination will be provided instead.

Appointment requests for oral examinations to be submitted by 10 July

• You have registered for the examination via the online portal or through your examination office.

You will then receive your examination date directly from the IRP via:

• Appointments by email ONLY to pruefungen-irp (at) tu-braunschweig.de
• Send from your TU Braunschweig email address
• Please state the examination subject in the subject line
• One registration email per examination subject
• Please provide the following details:
  • Name
  • Student ID number (Matrikelnummer)
  • Course of study
  • Study level (Bachelor / Master)
  • Module
  • Examination language
  • Preferred date (cannot be guaranteed)
  • Certificate needed? (if applicable)
  • Optional: graded / ungraded (default: graded)
