TU Braunschweig

The TU Braunschweig is Germany's University of Technology with the longest tradition. The founding date of the Collegium Carolinum is clearly visible on the facade of the Altgebäude. The roots for today’s Technische Universität Braunschweig (TUBS) were thus already laid 275 years ago.

TU Braunschweig is a traditional site and yet it is among the top locations for current excellent research. You will find the advantages and infrastructure of a big city combined with a personal atmosphere and individual support.

Technische Universität Braunschweig is one of the strongest research universities in the state of Lower Saxony and is located in the centre of Europe's most active R&D region. With 16,000 students and 3,800 employees, we offer a wide range of study programs, innovative and interdisciplinary teaching, research- and transfer opportunities, and excellent facilities.

Studying Electrical Engineering or Information Technology at TU Braunschweig means hands-on, practical learning at a renowned institution with a high international profile. TU Braunschweig’s environment contributes to the favourable framework conditions: thanks to a large number of major research institutions, Braunschweig is considered a city of research and science.
