Our program

Diversify is a program run by the Deutschlandstiftung Integration and funded by the Mercator Foundation. Under the patronage of the German Chancellor, we are a non-partisan foundation committed to promoting equal opportunities and social participation. 

Our goal: We want to strengthen the political representation and participation of socially disadvantaged young people. The program offers a unique platform for developing skills for political engagement or a career in politics.  

This year, we are once again supporting young people on their path into politics with paid internships at the federal and state levels. For two months, young adults aged 18-35 can gain insights into the day-to-day political work in members of parliament's offices.
