Publisher discount and Memberships

The University Library has arranged special conditions and discounts for Open Access publishing with various publishers. These publishers are listed here in alphabetical order with information about conditions, procedure and further links. Please note that the publishers' discounts can only be claimed if you are a corresponding author.
 

AAAS - American Association for the Advancement of Science (until 31st December 2026)

• Conditions
  15% discount on regular APCs in the OA journal "Science Advances"
• What do I have to do?
  You have to claim the 15% discount actively from the publisher.
  
  For (proportional) funding from the TU Braunschweig Publication Fund, please submit the Application for funding.

• Conditions
  Cost-free OA activation of articles in all hybrid and OA Journals and Proceedings that are included in the contract.

  No standardised affiliation check, you have to identify yourself actively as a member of TU Braunschweig.

  Cost-free OA activation of articles in hybrid journals. - 25% discount on the following Gold journals: European Journal of Psychology Open, Psychological Test Adaption and Development, Sports Psychiatry - Journal of Sports and Exercise Psychiatry, and Rorschachiana - Journal of the International Society of the Rorschach.
