The summer season had barely begun before it was already over. On Thursday, July 16, 2026, the grand finale of the University Soccer League took place – and despite a brief rain shower, the season finale was a complete success.
In the third-place match, LOK Lorentz, last season’s champion, secured a decisive 9-1 victory over Halli Galli. Although the kickoff for the final had to be postponed by 25 minutes, the fans didn’t let that dampen their spirits and continued to provide loud support. In the championship match, Die Kickers faced off against Eintracht Elotrans. With a 5-2 victory, Die Kickers finally secured their well-deserved title after twelve years of participation and a narrow loss in last semester’s final. The team captain accepted the trophy with the words: “Spread the word that this is really fun.”
Afterward, the end of the season was celebrated in style at the Eule.

The final day of the Uniliga at the end of December 2025 had it all: excitement, drama, and pure emotion!
The placement matches began with the game for third place, which Eintracht Elotrans won decisively - congratulations!
The Kickers and LOK Lorentz faced each other in the grand final. In an exciting game, each goal was promptly followed by an equalizer. The decision was finally made in a penalty shootout. The fans celebrated their teams with every goal and brought the arena to life! After such a thrilling final, this year's winning team was decided: LOK Lorentz was delighted to receive the trophy and the title.

The university league finale was a real spectacle that, despite the constant rain, turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The weather couldn't dampen the ambition or passion of either the teams or the fans. The fans in particular brought a sunny atmosphere to the grounds, with unflagging energy and enthusiasm! The atmosphere was simply overwhelming.
Even though the drizzle never really let up, the support from the sidelines was loud, infectious, and full of positive energy.
Congratulations to the winning team and a big thank you to the organizing team for putting together another great event. Of course, we would also like to thank all the participants and spectators who made this evening so special.
