What are the Eurofins Science Slams?
They are entertaining and friendly competitions in which the speakers (slammers) present their work in just 10 minutes in a way that inspires the audience. Technical topics explained with humor and passion. The audience decides who wins.
When and where do the Eurofins Science Slams take place?
The Eurofins Science Slams are part of the "Eurofins Open Lab Days" (open day of the Eurofins laboratories). 3 slammers per location can perform in the evening program:
- March 10-11, 2026 in Augsburg
- June 10-11, 2026 in Hamburg
- September 15-16, 2026 in Leipzig
- September 29-30, 2026 in Dortmund
Which topics can be presented?
Everything is welcome, from research work and everyday professional experience to thoroughly researched topics of the heart. Especially from the following areas:
- Laboratory analysis & food chemistry
- Nutrition & natural sciences
- Quality management & product development
- Food production & technology
