The long-term tuition fees can be waived in whole or in part in the case of undue hardship. Undue hardship usually exists if the period of study has been extended due to a disability, serious illness or the consequences as a victim of a crime.  An application for (partial) waiver of long-term tuition fees can also be submitted in the case of a direct and verifiable extension of study time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
