Master degree program

The structure of the Master degree programme (MPO 2006 or 2009) can be seen in following figure (only available in German):

To successfully complete the master's degree program, students must acquire a total of 120 credit points according to the following scheme:

  • 48 credit points from the compulsory section modules
  • no fewer than 12 credit points from one in-depth field from the electives section including a seminar paper
  • no fewer than 12 credit points from a second in-depth field from the electives section
  • up to 12 credit points from any of the courses in the electives section of the master's degree program
  • 6 credit points for completion of the specialist internship (6 weeks)
  • 30 credit points for the master's thesis

Some links are not available because the Master degree programme is to be proved for consequences of actual changes and will be corrected in the winter term 2008/2009.

The single modules of the Master degree programme can be find in the "Elekronisches Modulhandbuch" (electronic module handbook). The suggested study time per credit point is roughly 30 hours.
