In the 11th session, Mr. Alessio Baldelli gave a talk on "Quantum XYZ Codes".
"Alessio Baldelli is a PhD student in the Information Engineering Department at Università Politecnica delle Marche. He received his Bachelor’s degree (cum laude) in July 2022 with a thesis on “Error correction codes in quantum communications,” and his Master’s degree (cum laude) in October 2024 with a thesis on “Analysis of quantum LDPC codes for error correction,” both from the same university. His research interests include quantum error correction, information theory, and code-based cryptographic schemes."
