The Molecular Biology of Fungi Symposium is a biennial conference jointly organized by the VAAM specialist group “Biology and Biotechnology of Fungi” and the Gen-AG “Fungal Genetics” of the Society for Genetics. It brings together researchers working in molecular biology, genetics, biotechnology, and ecology, and serves as a forum for discussing the latest advances in fungal research — from genomics and systems biology to fungal interactions, pathogenicity, biotechnology, and ecosystem processes.
The symposium welcomes both established investigators and early-career researchers. It provides opportunities to present new findings, facilitates networking within the community, promotes international collaboration, and helps shape the future trajectory of fungal research in Germany.
