The Niedersächsisches Forschungszentrum Fahrzeugtechnik (NFF) is one of the largest and most modern centres for mobility research at any German university and focuses on promising future-oriented topics in vehicle and traffic research.
From the existing social, environmental and economic requirements for the development of vehicle-related technologies and usage models, the NFF has developed the vision of Sustainable Mobility.
It will be implemented in five scientific research fields (Intelligent Vehicle and Connected Driving, Low-Emission Vehicle, Flexible Vehicle Concepts and Vehicle Production, Mobility Management and Logistics, Electromobility) and will sustainably ensure the individual mobility needs in metropolitan areas.

Zur jährlichen Mitglieder- bzw. Hauptversammlung mit kleiner Landpartie hatte das NFF am 14. Juli geladen und den heißen Temperaturen erfolgreich mit einer gut gefüllten Eistruhe und kalten Getränken getrotzt. Neben Einblicken in aktuell laufende Forschungsprojekte, gab es strategische Ausblicke und viel Lob von TU Präsidentin Prof. Dr. Angela Ittel für die geleistete Forschungsarbeit und die Herausforderungen, die in den kommenden Monaten anstehen. Whether it's event announcements, short news items or small notes on our own behalf: in our Notiz_Blog you will always be kept up to date. Here, we especially want to share information that is too small to be major news, but can be an important information component for processes in the context of the NFF, for example. This is complemented by our social media activities.
Wer fokussiert arbeiten, ungestört telefonieren oder sich auf eine Videokonferenz konzentrieren will, braucht einen Rückzugsort. Im NFF wurden deshalb drei sogenannte „Silentboxen“ als schallgeschützte Minibüros angeschafft. Zwei davon sind leicht erreichbar und zentral im Erdgeschoss platziert, so dass gerade Studierende, die z.B. Wartezeiten zwischen Veranstaltungen draußen am Forschungsflughafen überbrücken müssen, davon profitieren sollen. [Mehr]
