The bachelor's/master's degree program Transportation Engineering is geared towards international needs. It comprises four areas of training:

  • planning,
  • production
  • inspection and
  • Betrieb.

These add up to a marketable training profile offering good prospects in attractive careers.

Competence - Who we are

The programme's collaborating departments at the Technische Universität Braunschweig – Civil Engineering; Electrical Engineering and Information Technology; Mechanical Engineering; Mathematics, Computer Science and Business Administration, Economics and Social Sciences – provide advanced, vocationally relevant training that includes key communication and people skills.

Location - Why here?

Braunschweig ist the centre of an unique agglomeration of economy, research and scientific institutes, actual a true center of transportation expertise. Here are located companies of automotive engineering (Volkswagen and supplier, MAN, ...) and railroading (Siemens Mobility Division, Alstom, ...) as well as the university Technische Universität Braunschweig and aerospace research institutes like the DLR.

The engineering degree Transportation Engineering is a multi-disciplinary program. It provides students with training to an advanced level with the opportunity to deepen their skills profile in the master's program with its research-based approach.
