TU BRAUNSCHWEIG

Term Dates

When do classes start? How about holidays? Planning ahead is an important aspect of successful studies. Here you will find a list of all the important dates for the current semester, as well as an overview of past and future term dates.

Practical Information

You will need to renew your matriculation each semester. Different rules will apply if you decide to take a leave of absence, for example. We can provide you with information about the formalities you will need to complete during your studies, along with a list of the most important contact people.

Additional Qualifications [German content]

Why not venture a look outside your own study area, for example during a stay abroad? You could also participate in training and classes on career choices and planning, some of which even qualify for academic credits.

Costs and Financing

Costs and Financing can differ a lot for international students. In case you need an advise on how to finance your studies please contact the International Office.

Special Circumstances

Not all students come to TU Braunschweig under the same circumstances. In order to facilitate your day-to-day studies, we have a number of special contacts, for example for international students, students with children and students with disabilities.

Special Study Arrangements [German content]

There are many different forms of studies: a large number of lectures and seminars may also be of interest to senior citizens or visiting students. Even secondary school pupils may get a taste of university life as “early students”.
