since 1989   Leader of the work group Residue Analysis, Institute of Environmental and Sus¬tain¬able Chemistry, Technische Universität Braunschweig. Research activities focus on fate and behavior of micro-pollutants in municipale and agricultural waste streams, water/sediment and soil/plant systems.
2007-2013

Chair of the Examiner Board Chemistry, Faculty of Life Sciences, Technische Universität Braunschweig. Chair of the work group Soil Chemistry and Soil Ecology of the GDCh Expert Group for Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology.

2003

Appointment as an adjunct professor, Technische Universität Braunschweig.

1998

Appointment as an assistant professor. Venia legendi in Environmental Chemis¬try with the postdoctoral thesis “Development of analytical methods for the differen¬tia¬tion of degradation and sorption as concentration determining processes for pesticides in soils”.
