Kick-Off für europaweites Forschungsprojekt „UrbanSmartPark“

Erstes NFF-Projekt im Rahmen der europäischen Initiative „KIC Urban Mobility“ gestartet

Mit einem zweitägigen Workshop aller Partner fand der offizielle Start des Projektes „UrbanSmartPark“ am 20. und 21. Januar 2020 in Braunschweig am Niedersächsischen Forschungszentrum für Fahrzeugtechnik (NFF) statt. Das europaweite, zweijährige Projekt zielt auf die Entwicklung und Pilotdemonstration von automatisierten Parkfunktionen auf der Straße sowie auf die Konzeption und Bereitstellung von Parkdienstleistungen.

„UrbanSmartPark“ ist eines der ersten NFF-Projekte im Rahmen des „KIC Urban Mobility“, einer vom EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) geförderten europäischen Initiative. Zielsetzung des Verbundes ist es, mehr lebenswerten städtischen Raum zu schaffen und nutzerzentrierte Mobilitätsdienste und -produkte zu integrieren. Das Projekt hat ein Projektvolumen von 860.000 Euro und wird im Jahr 2020 mit 600.000 Euro gefördert.

The official start of the project "UrbanSmartPark" took place on January 20 and 21, 2020 in Braunschweig at the Automotive Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFF) with a two-day workshop of all partners. The europe-wide, two-year project aims at the development and pilot demonstration of automated parking functions on the road as well as the conception and provision of parking services.

"UrbanSmartPark" is one of the first NFF projects within the "KIC Urban Mobility", a European initiative supported by the EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology).
