MiBA/ToM

MiBA was established in 2005 with full support of the University of Hamburg. Currently the program is run in cooperation with ToM program (Technology oriented Management) of the Technische Universität Braunschweig. MiBA trains students to become international business experts and be able to make competent and effective decisions in the global environment. MiBA pays special attention to the development of intercultural communication skills.

The program has truly international flavor: it attracts students from 19 countries who benefit from regular student exchange. It is your opportunity to build new business networks and experience a new culture.

At MiBA emphasis is put on working in multicultural groups on real-life issues. The curriculum of the program includes courses offering business cases dealing with current challenges of international corporations. The cases are delivered exclusivly for MiBA by leading international companies such as Shell, Imperial Tobacco, Berenberg Bank, AB Inbev, SAB Miller, Tesa, MINI, Continental, Tivola, Boston Consulting Group, Quelle Russia and others. Multicultural student teams from Russia, Germany and China jointly work on cases and present their solutions to company managers.

MiBA is highly recognized by international business community. MiBA students complete internships in such leading international companies as Adidas, Beiersdorf, Metro Group, Adam Opel, Allianz, Procter&Gamble, British American Tobacco, Deutsche Telekom, KNAUF Gips, Volkswagen AG, Carl Zeiss AG and others.

MiBA is supported by DAAD and various scholarships are offered to successful students of the program such as

MiBA is a full-time program that runs for 4 semesters. The language of instruction at the program is English. Lectures are hold both by German an Russian professors.

Structured lectures, tutorials, preparation of presentations, case discussions and project work are an essential part of MiBA courses.
