Francisco Carpio received his M.sc. and B.sc degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) degree at Technische Universität Braunschweig. He is an active developer contributor to the open source community and works in the area of optimizations and architecture design of IoT, edge and cloud computing systems.
