Consulting Sessions

The open consultation hours are for short meetings only, with a maximum length of 15 minutes.
If you need more detailed advice, you are welcome to make an individual appointment either beforehand or during the open consultation hours.

The International Office offers a consulting session for all full-time Bachelors & Masters students . You can come with your questions or ask for information:

  • every Monday, 13h - 16h, Desk 5
  • every Wednesday, 13h - 16h, Desk 5
  • every Thursday, 10h - 13h, room 104

The International Office offers a consulting session for all international Exchange students. You can come with your questions or ask for information:

  • Please note! There will be no consulting session on April 24 and 29.

Buddy programme

To get you off to a good start in Braunschweig, we can find a peer student for you. Your peer student knows Braunschweig and the university and will:

  • pick you up from Braunschweig Train Station and take you to your accommodation,
  • assist you with formalities such as enrolment, opening a bank account, visiting the foreigners' registration office and getting a library card,
  • accompany you during your first steps in Braunschweig and assist you with any initial difficulties you may face,
  • show you around the university and the city, so you can settle in quickly.

Semester & leisure programmes

The student groups "Erasmsu Student Network" and "Internationale Gauß-Freunde" offer a semester programme with a wide variety of events:

Everybody is welcome to join - international and German students, newcomers and "old hands" - to go out, have fun and find new friends. The programme includes excursions and short trips, parties and pub crawls but also workshops and cultural events.

International MoRe "Stammtisch"

The Mobile Researchers' Centre at TU Braunschweig cordially invites you to the International MoRe-Stammtisch. Together, we want to spend inspiring evenings at various locations around the city, get to know scientists and researchers from all over the world, network and exchange ideas and experiences.
