short-description

The lecture Computer Science for Mechanical Engineers imparts the basic fundamentals and concepts of computer science. The several classes of the course deal with the theoretical aspects of computer science, like architecture of computer systems, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, networks, etc. The theoretical knowledge is deepened and enhanced by examples and the aid of programming languages C/C++ in exercise classes. Seminar classes are provided and every student can practice in small groups with tutorial staff.

prerequisites

notes

The exercise class helps to understand the theoretical knowledge by using the programming languages C/C++. Scheduling and allocation for the seminar classes is done at the beginning of the summer term.
