Khazhgali Kozhasov

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Applied Algebra group of Timo de Wolff at TU Braunschweig. Summer and Winter semesters of 2021/22 I spent as a substitute professor in the Applied Algebra and Data Analysis group at the University of Osnabrück. From April 2018 till March 2019 I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Nonlinear algebra group of Bernd Sturmfels at MPI MiS. I have obtained PhD in May 2018 at SISSA where my advisors were Andrei Agrachev and Antonio Lerario, here you can find my thesis. Here is my CV.

Research interests:

Geometric, topological, analytic and statistical properties of real polynomials, tensors and varieties.

This semester I am teaching a master course "Applied Algebra and Geometry"

Applied Algebra and Analysis Online Seminar

Jointly with Timo de Wolff, Stefan Kunis, Dirk Lorenz and Tim Römer we organize an online seminar on Applied Algebra and Analysis. The information about upcoming talks is available at http://www.iaa.tu-bs.de/AppliedAlgebra/AAA/. If you want to get into the mailing list, write me an e-mail.

I am leading a math circle for children of 9-11 years at Teremok e.V.
