Department 36 – Real Estate and Project Management

Department 36 – Real Estate and Project Management – is responsible for making available rooms to the university facilities and institutes that meet their wide range of different requirements as well as possible. Another task is the future-proof development of real estate.

Additional responsibilities include strategic real estate management, i.e. structural development planning; allocation planning; space planning; real estate management; processing of room applications; room allocation; assignment of room and building numbers; real estate issues; HOAI contracts; records of TU Braunschweig’s estates; drafting of HOAI contracts with external engineering firms; managing large-scale construction projects in the role of principal; preparing research facility construction applications; supporting research facility construction projects; CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management); development of the digital database of university buildings and technical facilities; making available evaluations.
