Challenges, chances and solutions around the digitalization are part of the 9th Research Day of NFL. The topic of the networked und automatized living and working and its digital processes is an important issue in mobility and especially in aviation. Creating new difficulties, the new possibilities and potencials are demanding creative bases and new mindsets. These circumstances have a huge impact on the design of the aircraft, its production, the airline processes and many other aspects. We're looking forward to the presentations of our speakers that will give you an insight in current works from research and industry.

Path-breaking research results and excellent performances in student thesis from the efficient, safe and sustainable air traffic are important contributions for innovative solutions in aerospace. Honoring two outstanding personalities of aeronautic research in Braunschweig, the NFL supports those innovations with the Hermann-Blenk-Research-Prize and the Karl-Doetsch-Young-Scientist-Prize. The awards are promoted by the companies Aerodata AG, Airbus Operations GmbH, Forschungsflughafen Braunschweig GmbH, Ingenieurbüro Dr. Hillger and Invent GmbH. For the first time the Association of German Engineers awards an outstanding performance of a master's thesis with the VDI Aerospace-Prize.

We heartly invite you to the public colloquium and the ceremonial presentation of prizes.

We kindly ask you to register to nfl@tu-braunschweig.de until 19th November 2018.
