Research day 2016

On 7th November 2016 the 7th Research Day of the Aeronautics Research Centre Niedersachsen will be held.

Sicherheit - Safety

By the conduction of coordinated research programs, the Aeronautics Research Centre Niedersachsen (NFL), since 2009, contributes to safe, environmentally friendly and efficient future air traffic. Overall safety is an issue playing an important role with respect to aviation and other related mobility sectors. Relevant research- and innovation-strategies demand a safety level of a maximum of one accident out of 10 million commercial flights in the European air transport system for the year 2050. To achieve this goal, several problems have to be dealt with. Among those are weather impacts, an increase of traffic density and operation of unmanned systems in controlled airspace. Thus both new technologies and procedures aiming at the increase of safety in air traffic, form the central topic of the seventh research day of the NFL.

On 7th November 2016 from 9:30 to 13:00

In the auditorium of "Haus der Wissenschaft" at the main campus of TU Braunschweig. After the lecture program and price-giving a welcome will be held in the foyer in the first floor.
