Winner of the BMBF GO-Bio contest

At the German Biotechnology Days in Berlin State Secretary Dr. Georg Schütte, Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), awarded eight winners of the founders contest GO-Bio. One of them is the Biotechnology team from TU Braunschweig with partners from USA and industry.

For several years, they are systematically analysed by a Collaborative Research Centre Transregio in Oldenburg and Braunschweig. 03 November 2017 - Technology Transfer Award of the IHK Braunschweig 

The startup company GATTAquant and the mentor, Philip Tinnefeld, receive the Technology Transfer Award of the IHK Braunschweig, which is endowed with 10,000 euros. The Nanometerlineale developed by the team are tools for the operation of super-dissolving microscopes.

Scientists of the Helmholtz Centre for Infectious Research (HZI) in Braunschweig, the University of Vienna and the University of Bielefeld launched the initiative called "CAMI – Critical assessment of Metagenome interpretation", which implements the tools of the Tests Metagenome analysis and defines new standards and application possibilities.
