Together with other summer school participants from different continents, you will join the curriculum classes of TU Braunschweig’s teacher education. This means you will be integrated into the regular classes with German students, learn alongside them, and get to know them.
In our summer school you can take different courses in the areas of pedagogy, psychology, history, theology, sports, and more. You will also have the chance to get practical insights and experience in regional schools.
To give you the opportunity to get to know the area and its people, there is also an extensive social program in and around our beautiful town: Braunschweig is located in the state of Lower-Saxony in the northern part of Germany and was founded more than 1000 years ago. For many centuries, the city was an important trading and cultural center. You can still stroll through medieval streets and discover many historic buildings in the city, as well as a rich cultural and social life.
We will visit historic (even older) towns, museums, and regional companies, such as Volkswagen and Jägermeister. We will see some of TU Braunschweig’s research facilities and learn about innovative research projects. During field trips you will get to see and experience more of the nature and culture of the region. Fun activities and enough free time to explore Braunschweig on your own round off our program.
Please register before 01 April 2022. The registration may be closed before the deadline in case the maximum of participants is reached.
Please fill in the registration form (see below) and send it along with the information whether you would like to obtain practical experience, an enrolement certificate of your home university and a copy of your passport to summerschool@tu-braunschweig.de. You will then receive an e-mail with further information.
