The thesis office of the University Library Braunschweig is where the mandatory copies of all dissertations and habilitations of the Technische Universität Braunschweig are submitted. When all requirements are fulfilled, the office issues the document of confirmation needed for the doctoral certificate. Acceptance of deposit copies is also possible by mail or personally at the University library’s post office fom Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 12:00. You can find the post office at the delivery entrance of the library on the east side of the building via Konstantin-Uhde-Straße. Please notice that a receipt cannot be handed out at the post office.
After your documents have been checked by the thesis office, the confirmation document is drawn up and sent to your department (usually on the next business day). You will receive a confirmation by email.
