The Technology Transfer Office is a unit reporting to the Vice President for Strategic Development and Technology Transfer at the TU Braunschweig.
We are a communications and service interface between the scientists and academics of the TU Braunschweig and companies from industry. Our objective is to bring innovations and findings from science and research into industry.

Technology transfer tasks include scouting out innovative ideas, establishing the right contacts between science and business, dissemination and marketing new technologies (online publication, presentations at tradeshows and events etc.).
We support university business start-up projects in general by providing coaching and consultation services, offering teaching and information, connecting applicants with funding programmes and making funding programmes available directly.
We provide support throughout the various patenting processes. This includes tasks such as evaluating inventions, registering with the patents and trademarks office and licensing of intellectual property. We are happy to answer your questions regarding the filing of patent applications.
The Career Service at the TU Braunschweig accompanies students and graduates on their journey from university studies to a career. We can provide industry contacts and insights into the world of work and offer a range of training and advice services to prepare you for the application process and for your entry into your career.
