Othmer, Julius

Julius Othmer has been responsible for the domain “Study and Teaching” at the TU Braunschweig since 2015. Applied media theory, digitalisation as a media-cultural transformation process, agile learning settings as well as hybrid teaching and learning rooms are several points of focus of his work so far. Julius Othmer is a Digital Learning Transfer Fellow with the “Stifterverband” [Donors' Association] and is a Peer for the “Hochschulforum Digitalisierung” [Higher Education Forum on Digitalisation], where he advises universities in their strategic deliberations in the field of education in a digital word.

Management Assistance

Nebel, Fabienne

Fabienne Nebel is an office manager and has been working in the Project House since 2019 as a team and business assistant. She completed her education in business and office management in July 2019 at the TU Braunschweig in the designated office for Communications and Press Service. She subsequently joined the Project House and took on the management assistant position.

Scheiner, Jan-Philipp

Jan-Philipp completed his training as an office manager in the accounting department of the Institute for Electrical Machines, Traction and Drives. Following his training, he stayed at IMAB for another year and was then employed in the enrolment office and the budget department. Since 2021, Jan has overseen the two STIHL-funded projects ProDigI and Co³-Learn.

Dr. Altissimo, Alice

Alice Altissimo has been a member of the Innovation Team since 2022 and supports the university development initiative focusing on interdisciplinary, international cooperation and the future design of teaching-learning processes and environments at TU Braunschweig. She studied European studies and cultural studies in Osnabrück, Frankfurt Oder and Wroclaw and worked at the Institute for Social and Organisational Education at the University of Hildesheim both in teaching and in national and international research projects.

Dr. Bogdanow, Pamela

Pamela Bogdanow is an educational scientist and part of Team Innovation in University Development. She plays a strategic/pivotal role at TU Braunschweig, supporting the president's executive committee by facilitating the fundraising for third-party funded projects in the sphere of innovative teaching as well as implementing and evaluating innovative project plans. She also performs advisory and operational functions in working groups and in the writing process of future-oriented concepts. In addition to her work with innovative teaching-learning scenarios in the context of (hybrid) learning spaces, she also focuses on learning process opportunities and competence-oriented teaching-learning concepts in the university context.

Düring, Anika

Anika Düring is a business lawyer (LL.M.) and part of Team Innovation in University Development. She is responsible for facilitating strategic development processes and projects in key fields of TU Braunschweig from their beginnings to their integration and implementation in the university. Points of focus in her work are the organisation and facilitation of participatory processes of strategy and change as well as project management. Additionally, she has comprehensive experience in quality assurance of study programmes and teaching, coordinating funding projects, and in the competence-oriented development of academic programmes.

Helmcke, Martina

Martina Helmcke is a social scientist and member of Team Innovation in University Development. She accompanies current developments and processes along key fields at universities. She contributes her many years of experience in the conception, establishment, and further development as well as the management of multi-actor networks and cooperations between universities, business and many other organisations.

Wenzel, Henrike

Henrike Wenzel is an art scientist (M.A.) and a member of the Team Innovation in University Development. She supports the president’s executive committee with tasks dealing with the strategic areas of activity at TU Braunschweig. Her work focuses on generating ideas and intitating creative processes, as well as developing and coordinating projects with partners from research, culture, industry, and city. She has comprehensive experience in the development of competence-oriented academic programmes.
