The Technische Universität Braunschweig is led by a presidency. The President represents the university in public, chairs the Presidency and sets the guidelines for it. The President is nominated or appointed on a recommendation of the University Senate.
In addition to the President, the Presidency also includes a Vice President for Human Resources, Finance and Infrastructure. He is responsible for the business divisions: Human Resources, Law and Studies, Finance and Facility Management.
