Yun Su Kim studied civil engineering at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology in South Korea. After graduating with a Master of Science degree, he worked for eight years in an engineering office, where he was involved in the planning and rehabilitation of highways. Since April 1, 2018, he has been a research assistant at the Institute of Braunschweig Pavement Engineering Center under the direction of Prof. Michael P. Wistuba. The focus of his research is on asphalt technology. Here, he is particularly concerned with the interaction of the mix components bitumen and filler or mastic.
