Internationalisation is a central component of the university's overall strategy. The process of internationalisation is seen as a cross-sectional task, which is supported by all members of the university and is monitored and controlled by TU Braunschweig's Internationalisation Committee.

 

Re-Audit2: Internationalisation of Universities

In the alignment and implementation of its internationalisation activities, TU Braunschweig is accompanied by the HRK and will be the first German university to undergo a Re-Audit2 process from 2022-2025. More information on this process can be found on this website soon.

TU Braunschweig sees itself as an open-minded research university that attracts students and scientists from many nations. Our central location in Europe’s most research-intensive region makes us particularly attractive to international guests and shapes our university’s intercultural study and work environment.
Process
Internationalisation plays a central role in TU Braunschweig’s overall strategic process. During the “Internationalisation of Universities” audit conducted by the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK), we were able to work out what such a process might look like at TU Braunschweig, and identified both our innate strengths and areas for improvement.

Decisions, reports, a translation glossary and image brochures: during the course of the internationalisation process, a considerable number of documents were created to inform you about the process and help you in your work. They are also useful in interactions with international partners.
