Bridges4Refugees

The project

Bridges4Refugees is a programme for refugees who want to begin or continue their studies at the TU Braunschweig. The prerequisite for participation is a foreign university entrance qualification. For several months, participants attend intensive German classes and start to visit a few maths lectures. German tandem partners offer them help and support. After passing the DSH language proficiency test (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang), participants are eligible to study at the TU Braunschweig or any other German university.

The DAAD-funded programme has been offered at TU Braunschweig's Language Centre since 2016. For more than 100 young men and women it has been the "bridge" to their studies.
