The European exchange programme Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Training Purposes (STT) enables the TU Braunschweig to support training measures for university staff at European universities and at foreign companies and institutions. The aim of the stay is to promote the personal and professional development of staff, as well as the exchange between international colleagues.

In addition to mobilities with Erasmus+ programme countries, there is also the possibility of exchanges with selected partner countries, some of which are outside Europe. Individual information on this can be obtained from the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at TU Braunschweig.
Funding for travel and accommodation costs is provided by the DAAD as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
The financial support is calculated according to the different costs of living in the destination countries. Uniform daily rates up to the 14th day of the stay are calculated as a lump sum for 3 groups of countries.
In addition, mobilities with a disability from GdB 20 and/or chronic illnesses, which result in additional financial needs, can also be funded with a higher amount. If this applies to you, please make an appointment with the Erasmus+ University Coordinator.

In addition to living costs, participants are supported with flat-rate travel costs. These travel costs are calculated according to the real distance between the origin and destination of the mobility and can be determined through the EU distance calculator.

In cooperation with the Human Resources Development Department, an information event on the application process is offered as part of the Human Resources Development programme. Attending this event is beneficial for the rest of the application process.
