The programme gives you the opportunity to connect with other international postdoctoral researchers, experience American research and expand your intercultural skills in the process. Furthermore, you get the chance to become part of the international network of Fulbright scholars and alumni.
Fulbright Scholarships for Research and Teaching
Where: At a university or research facility in the USA
When: Applications can be submitted throughout the year
Duration of the programme: Three to nine months
Note: Applications must be submitted at least nine months prior to the planned start of the stay!
The scholarship covers maintenance costs of €2,000 per month, additional expenses of €300, the transatlantic travel expenses, health/accident insurance and the Fulbright J-1 visa.
