Dear students,
we are delighted to be able to offer the practical seminar "Hands-on Cultural Heritage" again this summer semester in cooperation with Deutsches Fachwerkzentrum Quedlinburg e.V.
The practical seminar in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Quedlinburg deals with the exciting and important topic of restoring historic wooden structures. In addition to theoretical input, the seminar will focus primarily on trying out traditional craft techniques in practice. These can be tried out in the workshops of the Fachwerkzentrum and on construction sites under expert guidance. Excursions to restored buildings are also part of the seminar week. During the seminar week, you will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with experienced experts, get hands-on experience and visit historic timber structures.
