As part of the HolzQS research project, Ms Tomma Grensemann (IBHolz) and Mr Daniel Kehl (holz[bau]physik) took part in the 14th Nordic Symposium on Building Physics (NSB 2026) in Tampere, Finland.
There, our research assistant presented her paper entitled ‘Moisture uptake and technical drying of cross-laminated timber (CLT) walls’ and took the opportunity to exchange views with colleagues on the latest research findings and experiences.
Before and after the conference, she also had the chance to explore Tampere and Helsinki, and naturally came across examples of timber construction along the way.
