You can pick up your TUcard at the Studienservice-Center, Pockelsstraße 11 in the Haus der Wissenschaft during opening hours. The SC is currently open Mondays to Thursdays from 10 am to 12 pm and Tuesdays from 2 pm to 3 pm. Please note our information: www.tu-braunschweig.de/sc/aktuelles
Please first validate your TUcard at one of the validation terminals set up. You can see the locations of the devices here. Your student ID and semester ticket are only valid after correct validation. In the following semesters, please validate your TUcard again after you have re-registered in order to extend the validity.
To use the library you have to register at the UB with your TUcard. You can find more information here.
Please keep your TUcard in the protective cover provided. This is specially designed so that your card only needs to be removed for validation of the envelope.
Lectures will start on 19 October 2020, with minor deviations for first-semester students in the B.Sc. degree programme in Psychology (maybe a few days of delay) and in the Pharmacy degree programme (start: 02.11.2020). Please note the special pages of the TU Braunschweig on the coronavirus: https://www.tu-braunschweig.de/en/notes-on-the-coronavirus/.
A new card can be issued for you at any time in the Student Service Centre. However, in case of loss, damage to the card due to improper use or a technical defect for which you are responsible, you will have to bear the costs for the creation yourself.
We will continue to process your enquiries and applications. Unfortunately, it is not possible to maintain our services without restrictions under the current situation. However, we will try to keep the inconvenience for you as low as possible. Therefore, you can still reach us by phone, fax and e-mail. Of course, we will continue to receive your submissions by post.
To meet the deadline, it is usually sufficient to drop the complete application (e.g. for enrolment or for a change of degree programme) in the letterbox of the Admissions Office in good time. In the case of postal deliveries, the date of receipt at the Enrolment Office is decisive.
If a missed deadline is foreseeable due to circumstances (examination cancellation or similar), please contact us in good time! We will then find a suitable solution together with you.
The application procedure for degree programmes with local admission restrictions started on 01.12.2022. Applications for Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes and higher semesters can be submitted until15.01.2023. Enrolment in the first semester of an undergraduate Bachelor's degree programme without local admission restrictions can still be made until 01.04.2023. You can view our study programmes here: Link

Due to the special situation and the inevitable changes in procedures, delays may occur. Applications will be processed as quickly as possible so that you will receive confirmation of your enrolment as soon as possible. Please be patient.
Please check the applicant portal and your e-mail inbox regularly so that you can respond to any queries or requests for information if necessary.
Please note: You will not receive any confirmation from us if a change of study programme has been carried out; instead, the new degree programme will appear on the enrolment certificates that you can download, in addition to the previous degree programme or will replace it.
