Responsibilities

Communications Systems:

Operation of

• the telephone systems
• the (passive) data net
• the fire and burglar alarm systems
• the slave clock and time recording systems

Further responsibilities:

• Invoices (telephony, fire department, data lines, various measures)
• Mobile communications contracts for the administration and central facilities
• Display and permission changes
• Internal TU phone book
• Project support and consulting in construction activities

Automation:

Operation of

• measuring and control technology for all operating systems
• central building control systems with message monitoring
• SHEV systems

Further responsibilities:

• Fault-tracking
• Project support and consulting in construction projects

Project Management:

• Project management for new construction, renovations and expansions of installations within the responsibility of Department 34
• Project management for the infrastructural integration of large-scale equipment at TU Braunschweig
• Specialist project management for construction projects of Division 3

Energy Management / Energy Consulting:

Operation of

• the energy management system

Further responsibilities:

• Management / monitoring of energy-related projects
• Planning and monitoring of internal and external projects in the area of responsibility
• Media billing
• Energy cost controlling
• Analysis of energy consumption
• Consulting of TU institutions
