The Mechanical Engineering Day 2026 for the graduates of the year 2025:
All Bachelor's and Master's graduates as well as doctorates and their families are invited.

Mechanical Engineering Day - Graduation ceremony

In 2026, the Mechanical Engineering Day, the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, will take place on 9 May 2026. We look forward to celebrating this day together with graduates and their families. The most important planning information at a glance:

Invitation and registration

  • All graduates of the year 2025 of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes as well as doctorates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are invited (prerequisite: last examination performance by 31 December 2025) by post and e-Mail in february 2026.  (dispatch date: 13.02.2025)
  • The invitations were sent out by post and email in February 2026. They contain a personal registration code.
    To help us plan effectively, please let us know whether you will be attending or not by 12 noon on 31 March 2026
    Registration is required for participation, also for accompanying persons.

Parking spaces are very limited. It is recommended to travel by public transportation:

Bus 419, 429: Pockelsstraße, Hamburger Straße, Hans-Sommer-Straße, Bültenweg

Admission: from 8:30 a.m.
Duration: 9:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

  • We kindly ask you to arrive on time.
  • It is recommended to avoid larger bags. Lockers are not available.
  • There is no dress code. Recommendation: festive attire appropriate to the occasion.

Best dissertation - Manfred Hirschvogel Prize
