Mechanical Engineering Day 2023

In 2023, the Mechanical Engineering Day, the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, will take place for the first time since 2019. We look forward to celebrating this day together with graduates and their families. The most important planning information at a glance:

Invitation

  • All graduates of the year 2022 of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes as well as doctorates of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering are invited (prerequisite: last examination performance by 31 December 2022).

The event will take place in a festive setting at the Stadthalle Braunschweig.
Saturday, 13 May 2023 | 9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
     
Graduates and their families are invited. For more information, please see the invitation letter.

Event information

Admission: 8:45 am
Duration: 9:30 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

  • We kindly ask you to arrive on time so that the event can start punctually at 9:30 am.
  •  Bags larger than DIN A4 size are not permitted in the Stadthalle.
  • There is no dress code. Recommendation: festive attire appropriate to the occasion.
  • Coffee and a snack will be available for sale in the Town Hall before the event begins (8:45 - 9:15 am).
Confirmation / Cancellation

We kindly ask for your binding acceptance or cancellation, stating the number of your accompanying persons, exclusively via the link provided on the invitation or the QR code, by 01.04.2023 at the latest.

Please note that we do not have the capacity to confirm all entries. We thank you for your understanding.

Best dissertation - Manfred Hirschvogel Prize 2023

Since 2015, the Frank Hirschvogel Foundation has awarded the Manfred Hirschvogel Prize for the best dissertation of the previous year at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering on Mechanical Engineering Day.
