III. Purposes of data processing

  1. The main purpose of data processing is to maintain contacts in accordance with S. 1 of Art. 17(1) NHG (Lower Saxony Higher Education Act) (alumni management).
  2. The purpose of data processing is to enable alumni of the TU Braunschweig to have an (unofficial) exchange on career opportunities, requirements and networks or to initiate a possible cooperation between you and/or your current employer and the TU Braunschweig.

IV. Legal basis

  1. Data processing takes place on the basis of your voluntary consent, see point (a) of Art. 6(1) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). If you do not give your consent, it is therefore not possible to provide you with the services of Alumni Management mentioned above.
  2. In principle, you have the option of withdrawing your consent at any time with future effect. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the withdrawal. If you wish to withdraw your consent, please send your withdrawal of consent to the following e-mail address: alumni(at)tu-braunschweig.de.

V. External recipients or categories of external recipients of personal data

It is not intended to pass on your personal data to third parties. Furthermore, there is no transfer to a third country or an international organization.

 

VI. Storage

Your data will only be stored until the purpose has been achieved or until you effectively revoke your consent, at which point your data will be deleted. Otherwise, reference is made to the provisions of Art. 17 GDPR.
