HI!CHALLENGE | iTUBS | Profiting from the innovation potential of quantum technologies | Participants wanted

What is the HI!CHALLENGE?

The Hi!Challenge is an open innovation format in which we – the innovation company TU Braunschweig – bring students together with companies in a practical seminar.

In the coming winter semester, Quantum Valley Lower Saxony (QVLS) will be the challenge provider and the Hi!Challenge will be supervised by Prof. Dr. Müller (Department of Physics and Physics Education).

What exactly is it about?

Quantum technologies are on the verge of industrial implementation:

  •     The first quantum sensors are already on the market.
  •     Quantum communication is being tested for secure data transmission.
  •     Quantum computers are opening up new perspectives for optimisation and simulation tasks

But how can the leap from the research laboratory to real-world applications be achieved?

This is where the challenge comes in: we are looking for creative ideas for future application scenarios for quantum technologies.

Students work in small teams to develop solution ideas, identify relevant problems and design a fictional product, including a marketing strategy. We provide the participants with the necessary methods and skills!
