Personnel development aims to establish systematic processes for identifying, maintaining and, in coordination with TU Braunschweig requirements, developing and supporting the university staff’s health and their achievement and learning potential. Concrete fields of activity are, for instance, the following:
Continuing education and further training provided by Further Education; subject-specific training concepts and advice regarding suitable internal and external continuing education programmes.
Optimising recruitment and succession planning with the aim of optimising recruitment and identifying potential and career paths.
Occupational health management, which includes providing staff with support and advice on health topics, systematically monitoring the work environment for health risks and resources, and the development of social skills.
Personnel Development also participates in a number of higher-level measures.
