TU BRAUNSCHWEIG

Information for International Students

The staff at the CSE Office is always available to help students with any problems or concerns. We provide a pick-up service from Braunschweig`s main train station and an orientation week in which we offer assistance with regard to accomodation, residence permits, health insurance, enrolment etc. In September, prior to the start of the semester, there are excursions for all students, furthermore you will visit German courses and refresher courses for solid and fluid mechanics and there is a welcoming party to introduce all new students to our senior students.

Regarding accomodations please contact the Studentenwerk.

Throughout the semester the international student network (ISN) at TU Braunschweig organises a semester programme with a wide variety of social events and excursions for international students.

Please read also the IO's international student guide carefully for further information about living and studying in Braunschweig.

The following online handbook provides facts and figures about Germany, its political system, cultural and social life as well as different sectors of industry and business.

Students in great financial need can apply for scholarships from the task force for foreign students (AKAS). Please see the folloing link
