Project description

At the universities that are part of the "Schaufenster eMobilität Metropolregion Niedersachsen" a university-wide modular training and education on the topics of electric mobility is created. Academic professionals such as engineers, technicians and managers are the target group in this joint project. Among the project partners a customized selection of modules, five experiential training workshops and a virtual learning lab is designed, developed and implemented. Practical oriented and flexibly combinable training modules will be consistent, that means they will be used and tested as an independent on-the-job training and continuing education. They are developed for the five topics "Electric vehicles", "battery", "power electronics and electric machines", "charging infrastructure" and "mobility and business models." The modules are based on contemporary created training workshops and a novel simulation-based learning software. The requirements are matched together with industrial partners and other joint projects of the "Schaufenster eMobilität". The trainings activities are realized exemplarily, qualified and tested, including the mutual approval procedures of the different universities. It is ensured that current research results and experimental and engineering structures are integrated into the training program.

Tasks of AIP/DLM in the field "Continuing education mobility & business models"

In this area continuing education content for the topic of electric mobility and business models will be integrated into innovative university- and across locations training modules and tested in a test phase and evaluated. The teaching content includes the following subjects: Multimodal mobility and new business models, customer value-based design and control of mobility services, mobility design and future research, support multi-and intermodal mobility through smartphones and management of the business model change. This creates a modular teaching content that prepares the learner to the challenges of future mobility services and business models.

There are two virtual laboratories in the form of simulation models developed, a Mobility Business Lab (TUBS-AIP, LUH-IWI) and a simulation model to business model change in electric mobility (TUC-IfW). The virtual labs will be developed in close coordination with the physical Living Lab Electric Mobility (Schaufensterprojekt SFE4-007 Quicar-Elektrisch) and allow the didactic prepared access to the latest research findings. The integration of the Living Lab into the to be developed continuing education program allows participants also the validation and critical reflection of the simulation results on practical case.
